From Williamsburg/Hampton/Newport News
We are approximately 75 minutes from Williamsburg
Take I-64 East towards Norfolk
Take the exit for I-264 West towards downtown Norfolk and Follow directions from Virginia Beach listed below.
From Virginia Beach
We are approximately 30 minutes from Virginia Beach
Take I-264 West towards Downtown Norfolk.
Take Exit 9- Waterside Drive (this is a left side exit)
Continue straight thru downtown until the 5th light.
Make a right at the 5th light (Main Street)
City Parking Garage is on the left side of Main Street
Park in the garage and then walk across Waterside Drive to the Nauticus Museum(a 3 story gray building adjacent to the Battleship Wisconsin)
We are the 1st ticket window up on the deck of the Nauticus Museum
From Naval Station Norfolk
Follow Hampton Blvd away from the Naval Base
After approximately 10-15 minutes of driving look for signs to Downtown Norfolk.
Stay in the left lane and follow signs to Downtown Norfolk.
This will put you on Brambleton Avenue.
Stay in your right lanes and turn right at Boush Street(both right lanes will be forced to turn right)
Continue down Boush Street until you reach Main Street.
Turn Left at Main Street.
City Parking Garage is on the left side of Main Street
Park in the garage and then walk across Waterside Drive to the Nauticus Museum(a 3 story gray building adjacent to the Battleship Wisconsin)
We are the 1st ticket window up on the deck of the Nauticus Museum
Oversized Vehicles
Clearance in the Garages Downtown Ranges from 7-8 feet. If you are in a camper or other over-sized vehicle the closest surface lot is Harbor Park (the Baseball Stadium) at 150 Park Ave. It is about a 10-15 minute walk from there to our dock.
Handicap Parking
There are a few Handicap spaces in front of Nauticus that are available on a first come-first served basis.
- There are a few handicap spaces in front of the Nauticus Museum that are available on a first come-first served basis. If those spaces are full the closest parking is the Town Point garage on Main street directly across from Nauticus.
