A Season of Events along the
Elizabeth River Trail
Starting May 19 for National Bike to Work Day
• FREE & Open to the Public
Norfolk, VA (February 9, 2017) –TowneBank Fountain Park at Town Point Park, the premier family friendly outdoor park on the downtown Norfolk waterfront, will host a season of events promoting the Elizabeth River Trail starting, Friday, May 19 until Thursday, August 31, 2017. TowneBank Fountain Park, located along the Elizabeth River Trail, adjacent to Waterside District, will host more than40 events along the Elizabeth River Trail promoting the accessibility of the trail to cyclists, walkers, joggers and more. The events range from bicycle meet ups and cinema in the park, to a full moon bike ride, yoga for cyclists, lunch and learn series and a day time bicycle parade. TowneBank Fountain Park is the official picnic spot of the Elizabeth River Trail and makes for the ideal location to take a break from a walk, jog, stroll or cycle along the trail. All the following events are all free and open to the public.

Elizabeth River Trail activities in Townebank Fountain Park are produced by Norfolk Festevents in partnership with the City of Norfolk and TowneBank.
