Donegan Location of deployment Mediterranean Sea, Gulf of Aden Deployed Jan. 29 Returned Aug. 28 Highlights The Laboon contributed to NATO’s counter-piracy operations by patrolling the area off the Horn of Africa known as the International Recognized Transit Corridor. The focus of the mission was to deter piracy and protect vulnerable shipping in the region. The ship also participated in three other international maritime operations.
