EGG DROP COMPETITION AT NAUTICUS
Saturday, March 14, 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

Public invited to participate!!

What:    Nauticus will host budding designers of all ages at the annual Egg Drop Design Contest, sponsored by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. This fun and “egg-citing” competition challenges students to design, then test, specially engineered egg containers by dropping them from Nauticus’ second and third levels.  The lightest device that comes closest to the target while protecting the egg wins.  There is no cost to participate and the public is welcome. 

When:   Saturday, March 14 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. 

Where:   Nauticus, One Waterside Drive, Norfolk.
