By Patrick Wilson The Virginian-Pilot © December 22, 2008 NORFOLK The fast-attack submarine Boise will return to Norfolk on Tuesday after a six-month deployment, a statement from the Navy’s submarine force said. The Los Angeles-class sub deployed to the Mediterranean Sea on June 21, performing two national security missions in support of the Sixth Fleet and participating in five anti-submarine warfare exercises with European allies, the statement said.
