Wednesday, July 7, 2010, 11 am - 3 pm; Wednesday Fountain Field Days FREE entertainment and activities. Activities include backyard lawn games, such as corn hole, ring toss, bocce ball, hula hoops and much more! Norfolk Public Library will be onsite for a reading corner and storytelling, as well as Excalibur Gymnastics for an astonishing performance. The month of July is National Blueberry Month! During all the entertainment and activities, help yourself to fresh blueberries all afternoon, compliments of Festevents.
Wednesday’s are great for children and families to come and enjoy the fun in TowneBank Fountain Park. There is plenty of furniture and bistro seating with shade provided under the large park umbrellas. Omar’s Fountain Café is open for lunch until two o’clock serving tasty outdoor summer foods, treats, and cold beverages for purchase. Picnic spreads are welcome.

Saturday, July 10: Salsa Saturdays, 7 pm - 10 pm; TowneBank Fountain Park, Downtown Norfolk, Free and Open to the Public Salsa Saturdays is a new series featuring weekly Latin Dance Music hosted by local DJ Carlos Casanova Munoz. Bring your own picnic, or purchase food and beverages, including beer and wine from Omar’s Fountain Café.
