The attack submarine Montpelier is returning Wednesday from a six-month deployment, the Navy announced today.

The submarine left Norfolk Naval Station on April 29 and traveled more than 20,000 miles during deployment, a Navy news release says.

The submarine has a crew of 13 officers and 121 enlisted sailors.
