Subject: Victory Rover to offer extra Naval Base Cruises over Thanksgiving Weekend and Special Discount for “Real Pirates” visitors.

Rover Cruises is pleased to announce that in addition to our regular November Cruise schedule (2pm every day) we will also be cruising at 11am on Friday, November 27 and Saturday, November 28.  We will not be cruising on Thanksgiving Day.  Cruises will continue thru January 3 then resume in March of 2010.
 In addition, guests who purchase tickets for “Real Pirates” at Nauticus can receive $5 off Adult and $3 off Child admission to the Victory Rover.

2 Hour Narrated Naval Base Cruises depart from Nauticus, home of the Battleship Wisconsin, in Downtown Norfolk. The Captain provides a fascinating and entertaining commentary aboard this Coast Guard Certified and inspected vessel. As we cruise the smooth waters of the Elizabeth River you will see all of the sights of one of the world’s busiest sea ports, the highlight being the world’s largest naval base, home of the Atlantic Fleet:  Destroyers, Guided Missile Cruisers, Submarines, Aircraft Carriers and more. Up to 150 guests enjoy plenty of comfortable seating, an enclosed main cabin, open-air upper deck, snack bar and souvenir shop.  Rover Cruises operates both the Victory Rover and American Rover Tall Ship cruises from the Downtown Norfolk Waterfront.
